Evan Smith began working at Atlas Fiduciary Financial as an intern in his senior year of college. Upon graduation, he accepted a full time position as a Financial Analyst. He is responsible for providing client support, assisting in the investment/planning process, and supporting the advisors.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Costakos College of Business at William Paterson University, Evan earned a degree in Financial Planning with a minor in Economics. He has a drive for continued education and is currently studying for the CFP® designation. Evan also has his eyes set on the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, in the future.
“I chose a career at a fee-only financial planning firm because I believe strongly in the value of honest advice. I have worked at several firms where this was not the case and commissions/products were pushed to the forefront. Working at a fee-only firm allows me to stick with my values and provide advice that is truly in the client’s best interest.”
Evan is involved in and passionate about the financial planning community. He was president of the Financial Planning Club at William Paterson and is a member of NAPFA. While in school, he represented William Paterson back-to-back years at the Charles Schwab conference.
Evan’s hobbies include biking, bowling, and playing billiards. He enjoys all things sports, especially coaching baseball and playing golf in his free time. During the summer, he likes to go on fishing charters and spend time at the Jersey shore.
